2006 Trust Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon:
The warm growing days of the Horse Heaven Hills
(Phinney Hills and Champoux Vineyards) and the Columbia Basin (Bacchus) provide
the bulk of Cabernet for this bottle. A little Walla Walla off the
"rocks" (Kelley) provides some mid-palate lushness and the whole
blend is softened with 20% Merlot from the very cool Conner Lee Vineyard on the
Wahluke Slope. Lush dark berries, plum,
and minerality race through this well integrated wine.

Allocation Distributors is a Chicago based purveyor of fine wine. We focus on acquiring and proliferating the distribution of rare, boutique, cult or allocated wines. Our primary interest is in smaller wineries within the US region that produce delicious, noteworthy wines that are terroir driven. Our goal is to have a portfolio of wines with distinction, that can be appreciated by both the novice and discerning palettes.
Our target customers are Chicagoland restaurants and bars that provide not only a solid wine list, but also an expansive "By the Glass" program. We think it's important for a restaurant and/or bar to offer a wide variety of wines at different price points that can fulfill each individual diners expectations. Often, many restaurants carry mainstream wines by the glass, wines that are flat or one-dimensional....we want to fill that gap by supplying wines that provide an experience and good value. The experience is trying something that is complex or multi-dimensional, a wine that is intriguing and unique, a wine that speaks about terrior and the winemaker's vision. In order to achieve this, we've developed our Sommelier Allocation Program that allows us to work with Sommeliers to develop a unique wine list that meets their specific needs and is truly one of a kind.
In addition to our domestic distributions, we also have a pipeline to the Orient. We have several buyers in Malaysia and Macauw who are looking to acquire top California wine for the restaurant, hospitality and casino industries.
