2006 Trust Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon:

The warm growing days of the Horse Heaven Hills (Phinney Hills and Champoux Vineyards) and the Columbia Basin (Bacchus) provide the bulk of Cabernet for this bottle. A little Walla Walla off the "rocks" (Kelley) provides some mid-palate lushness and the whole blend is softened with 20% Merlot from the very cool Conner Lee Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope.  Lush dark berries, plum, and minerality race through this well integrated wine.

Audelssa meets L20 at C House in Chicago on May 31, 2009

Erich Bradley, winemaker of Audelssa and his team flew into to Chicago to meet with acclaimed restaurant, L20, to taste all thirteen of their labels.  The event was hosted by C House through sommelier, Chantelle Pabros of L20, and Allocation Distributors was among many of the guests that shared the experience.  It was a success and a lovely evening.  Chantelle, was very enchanted by all the Audelssa wines and is very excited to bring their wines into the restaurant soon.

Audelssa also introduced their very first white wine, the 2007 Chardonnay Alder Springs Vineryard, which is Burgundian in sytle with mineral notes and a fresh palette.  Unoaked and it's drinking very elegantly.

It was a progressive evening of multi-dimensional wines and it's easy to say that everyone was extremely impressed by Erich Bradley's style of wine-making.  It seems unfair that Audelssa wines are produced in limited quantities...but that's exactly the type of winery we want for our portfolio!
